Trend signal tracker — log, score and review the evidence behind a trend call
ZIP · 25 KB · free
What you get
A 20-column tracker plus a skill that turns articles, posts, supplier notes and your own store or street observations into scored signal rows — what was seen, where, when, how often, how strong, how trustworthy, and what would change your mind. It dedupes against existing rows, scores with a stated rubric, never calls anything a trend on the strength of one source, and writes the weekly "what moved" review and the team brief from the rows alone. Runs in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code and Google Sheets.
Use it for
- Log the signals in an article, post or your own store notes as scored tracker rows
- Re-score and rank signals with a stated strength and confidence rubric
- Write the weekly "what moved" review from the tracker, every claim tied to a row
- Brief the team in one page without stating any trend as a fact

Here is my trend signal tracker: {{tracker}}
Review the period {{period}}. Using only the rows and their dates, write "What moved": - Moved up: rows whose strength, confidence or direction improved in the period, with the evidence that did it - Moved down: rows that faded, gained a counter_signal, or were not seen again - New: rows first_seen in the period - Overdue: rows whose next_check is before today's date and were not updated - Counter-signals: anything in the notes or counter_signal columns that argues against a row - Watch next: the three rows most worth checking next, and what exactly to look for
One line per row, signal_id first, no row cited that is not in the tracker. If a section is empty, write "nothing this period". Do not call anything a trend; say "signal" and give its scores. Close with the questions I should answer before next period's review.
